The IWPSS-04 workshop continues a regular series started in October 1997 at
Oxnard, California and continued in San Francisco (2000) and Houston
(2002).  The fourth workshop is held for the first time in Europe and is
aimed at maintaining the focus on the many challenges that the Planning and
Scheduling community has to pursue meeting the broad needs of space
applications.
